is a must-see attraction and a feature seen sitting atop Cape Byron from all

If you visit Byron Bay between the months of June to late September, be
sure to visit the lighthouse for some whale watching. Off Byron
Bay the Southern Hemisphere Humpback whales can be seen. During the
southern summer, they spend their time in Antarctica feeding grounds and
then move up to the warmer waters for breeding and calving.
